The EB-5 Visa Process
The EB-5 immigrant visa process can be complex, confusing, and time consuming. For these reasons, most investors prefer using a reputable, federally approved regional center, such as American Life. Our goals: To help you efficiently obtain your green card and to provide a safe and conservative capital investment.

EB-5 Immigration Process
- Research investment options.
- Fund investment: ($800,000 + syndication fees)
- Select immigration attorney with EB-5 experience
- Prepare documentation to prove lawful source of funds and file I-526 petition to USCIS
- Receive I-526 approval
- If you live in the U.S. in lawful status and are otherwise eligible: file form I-485
- If you live outside the U.S.: file form DS-260 with the national visa center
- Interview at local embassy or consulate and receive immigrant visa
- Move to U.S. within 180 days
- Receive 2-year conditional permanent resident status
- File I-829 petition to remove conditions on residence
- File removal of conditions within 90 days of the end of the 2-year conditional resident period
- Receive permanent green card upon I-829 approval
Optional: 5 years after recieving conditional green card, file naturalization application to become a U.S. Citizen
