Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith brings over a decade of EB-5 industry experience to her role at American Life, where she leads strategic partnerships, expands into new investor markets, and provides trusted guidance to individuals navigating the EB-5 immigrant investor program. She has successfully raised capital for more than $500 million in U.S. commercial real estate developments, with a strong track record of supporting investors through both their immigration and financial journeys.
A frequent speaker at IIUSA industry events, Jennifer has presented on key investor-focused topics including Structuring EB-5 Capital, USCIS Audits, and Debt vs. Equity Models. Her unique perspective bridges both the legal and investment sides of the EB-5 process.
Before joining American Life, Jennifer worked at a leading immigration law firm in San Francisco, where she helped EB-5 clients obtain their conditional and permanent green cards. She holds a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon.

Simone Williams is the Founder and Partner of Williams Global Law, where she advises international businesses, investors, and governments on U.S. immigration, EB-5 investment, corporate formation, and regulatory compliance. She regularly works with investors from across the globe, including Africa, China, India, and Latin America.
As the former General Counsel of an EB-5 Regional Center, Ms. Williams managed a multimillion-dollar investment fund and oversaw the full spectrum of immigration processes for foreign investors. She was directly responsible for coordinating the EB-5 immigration journey for more than 200 investors.
Ms. Williams serves on the Policy Committee for Invest in USA (IIUSA), the leading industry and trade organization for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. She is also Advisory Board Member of SEDI-CASE, a Pan-American economic cooperation platform designed to foster trade, investment, and strategic partnerships across the Americas.
Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including:
